MY POEM ‘PILLARS OF THE EARTH’ HAS BEEN PUBLISHED BY ASPIRING WRITERS’ SOCIETY E-ZINE

My poem PILLARS OF THE EARTH, a topical work written keeping in mind the theme of Past Mythology applicable in the Present, has been published in the first issue of ASPIRING WRITERS’ SOCIETY E-ZINE.

I feel privileged to have my work grace such a wonderful cast of poetic voices.

So read it, share your thoughts and spread the word. Below is the link to the poem and make sure to read the other ones too.

  1. Hi PJ:

Once again, I just ain’t the kind of writer you are! Ain’t THAT brilliant! And thank God for that (I suppose). But, seriously, your writing, especially and specifically your poetry, just “lives.” It’s not just words on a piece of paper or on a tablet or on a phone. The words are alive and make the reader feel alive. Maybe the reader, like myself, can’t grasp all that aliveness in the greater scheme of things, but there IS aliveness and the words “breathe.” And the words don’t just “breathe.” They dissect, probe, stir insides, “impale and insert” (as today’s God Sonnet states). One is altered in a new and profound way after reading your poetry. Can a writer desire anything more than that? One might not even know how you were able to alter them but you did it anyway. I think it’s because you write from your heart and even more especially and specifically from your gut. While I don’t support animal dissection in biology classes, you do dissect the reader with your dissecting words. We get “cut and gut open” (maybe even against our own will) and are left scratching our heads. “What?” Oh, yeah! Your words can, and are, the altering of our souls in a new and profound way. You play these words out and these words play out in our insides. I don’t know if you’re looking to make a million dollars from what you write but if I had that million dollars, I would certainly give it to you. You definitely deserve it! 😁

Love and blessings always, my “huckleberry friend,”
